    Firewall management

Firewall management: rules somebody actually maintains

A firewall only protects as well as its rule set is maintained. We size the appliance, clean up rules that grew over years, set up VPN for home offices and branches and monitor operations — for companies in Luxembourg and the Grande Région.

    The starting point

    • Rules that grew over years

Openings created for long-finished projects stay active. Each one is a possible way in.

    • Unclear remote access

Who connects, when, from where? Without an overview, old access for suppliers and former staff stays active.

    • Updates get postponed

Firmware updates are deferred because a reboot is inconvenient — and known vulnerabilities stay open.

    What you get

    A clean rule set

Every rule has a purpose and an owner. Whatever is no longer needed is removed.

    Secure remote access

VPN for home offices, branches and technicians — with a second factor and access only to what is needed.

    Maintained operations

Firmware updates in planned windows, monitoring of availability and load.

    Traceable changes

Every change is documented. In audits and incidents it is clear who opened what and when.

    Where your data sits

Operated in the KÜS DATA GmbH data centre in Losheim am See, Germany. The operator is certified to ISO 27001 and DIN EN 50600 — those are the data centre's certifications, not ours. The systems running there are managed by our team. If your data has to stay in Luxembourg for legal reasons, tell us and we plan the storage location accordingly.

    How we work

    1. 1

      Inventory

We export the current rule set, review access and name the risky items.

    2. 2

      Clean up and cut over

Rules are cleaned, networks separated, VPN rebuilt — with a fixed date and a fallback plan.

    3. 3

      Take over operations

After that we maintain rules and updates, monitor the appliance and report regularly.
