    Microsoft rental licensing (SPLA)

Rent Microsoft licences instead of buying them

Instead of buying licences for years ahead, you rent them monthly: Windows Server, Remote Desktop, SQL Server and Exchange through the Microsoft Services Provider License Agreement. You pay for what you use and adjust the count as your team grows or shrinks.

    The starting point

    • Large one-off investments

Buying licences ties up capital for years, even though nobody knows how many workplaces you will have in two years.

    • Unclear licence position

Old agreements, changing metrics, external access: many companies are not sure they are licensed correctly.

    • Seasonal swings

Project or seasonal staff need access for a few months. Purchased licences then sit unused.

    What you get

    Adjustable monthly

Access counts go up or down each month. Billing follows actual usage.

    No upfront investment

A purchase becomes an operating expense — predictable and visible in the monthly budget.

    Licence and operations together

We do not only supply the licence, we run the systems on it: updates, monitoring, support.

    Provable

You receive a monthly statement of the licences in use — useful for audits and for your accounting.

    Rental licences

    Which rental licences we provide

    Servers & remote work

    Windows Server and Remote Desktop

The foundation for business applications and for access from home or on the road.

    • Windows Server Standard and Datacenter
    • Remote Desktop Services per user or device
    • Operated in the data centre or on your premises
    Databases

SQL Server as a rental licence

For line-of-business software, ERP and reporting — in the edition your application really requires.

    • Standard or Enterprise, depending on requirements
    • Backup and maintenance plans included
    • Change possible when the application changes
    Email & collaboration

    Exchange and Microsoft 365

Mailboxes on classic Exchange or in Microsoft 365 — including migration of existing mailboxes.

    • Migration without losing calendars and contacts
    • Separate backup of mailboxes outside Microsoft
    • Permissions, devices and sign-in protection managed centrally

    Where your data sits

Operated in the KÜS DATA GmbH data centre in Losheim am See, Germany. The operator is certified to ISO 27001 and DIN EN 50600 — those are the data centre's certifications, not ours. The systems running there are managed by our team. If your data has to stay in Luxembourg for legal reasons, tell us and we plan the storage location accordingly.

    How we work

    1. 1

      Inventory

We record which licences you use today, which agreements run and where there are gaps or surpluses.

    2. 2

      Licence plan

You get a recommendation on what to rent and what is better bought — with a quote free of upfront investment.

    3. 3

      Provisioning and billing

We set up, document and bill monthly by usage. A short message is enough for any change.
